The Role
This role is a newly created senior management position. The remit for the successful candidate includes taking this established and successful business and growing it whilst enhancing profitability and market leadership. The Sales and Marketing Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
Key areas of responsibility include strategic business development, and marketing and sales management, to meet agreed targets.

The Person
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in achieving sales targets, together with a minimum of five years experience in a commercial leadership role.

Own Key Secure Motorbike Storage Rooms
If you are looking for secure storage for motorbikes, helmets and leathers in a secure storage room during the winter months. You can use the services of Elephant Self-Storage in Dublin.
We have 800 hundreds secured rooms that vary in size depending on how big your items are to store. We have Security is the most modern and comprehensive available. There are over 80 CCTV cameras monitored on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. Live visual monitoring outside normal opening hours allows security to view and vocally challenge any unauthorised visitor.
We have a lot of customers who regular store different motorbikes who use our secure rooms. There is one condition you need to endure your motorbike does not contain any petrol. For security reasons anything flammable it not allowed to be stored in the storage facility. Insurance can be arranged through Elephant Self Storage.
If you are storing your motorbike in Self Storage then the cost would be anything between €22 - €34 per week charged on a monthly based. We can also arrange short term storage on weekly bases. You would need a deposit for the room that is refund when moving out, this is month.
We recommend you book 1-2 weeks in advance to arrange your storeroom.

The majority of the statistics recently released by the SSA actually relate to the United States of America, but it's clear that the same trends are apparent regardless of the country concerned.
Self-storage is definitely more popular than it has ever been with more than 58,500 registered self-storage facilities operating in 29 nations across the world, with more than 12,000 of these located outside of the U.S.
The fact that $22 billion in revenue were generated in the U.S. alone in 2011 by self-storage facilities shows the size of the industry there, and this has resulted in self storage taking it's place at the top of the list of the fastest growing market segments in the commercial real estate industry over the last 35 years - an impressive feat when you consider the typical high transaction values involved elsewhere in the industry.
In the recent economic downturn since 2008, many business have suffered greatly, yet the self-storage industry as a whole has continued in the face of this trend, to the point where it is considered by many financial commentators to be "recession-proof".

Allsop Auctions:
Allsop have made a nonsense of NAMA. Houses, apartments, commercial premises have been sold without convoluted schemes but at realistic prices. There is a trend for prices for similar properties to rise from one Allsop auction to the next. In May 2012 over 2000 attended their latest auction in the Shelburne Hotel. Bidding was strong and almost every one of the hundred plus properties were sold on the day. Most went for over the guide price. Their service was efficient, professional and smooth. Sellers were guided to sensible reserves and buyers were given ample time to weigh up the offers. Had NAMA let the market find its own level, we would have saved millions if not billions by now and the false property climate which now prevails would never have happened. Selling a property is in itself a “job creating “process. An entrepreneur buys a “bargain”, invests in it, changes it, works it, and creates jobs in the process. If you do nothing, nothing happens and that is what is happening with NAMA. There are thousands of professionals making hay from NAMA but that is not what it was supposed to be about.
The last Allsop auction brought 3 storage bookings to us. They were selling apartments and wanted to store the furniture from the apartments. We provided removal services through one of our contacts and we expect the furniture to stay with us till the sellers buy again.
